Research
My research program involves interactions between plants and abiotic and biotic properties of soil in order to better understand: 1) The influence of soil fertility on plant biodiversity; 2) The development of terrestrial ecosystems, including the primary succession; 3) Functional traits on plants which explain the distribution of species along edaphic gradients This research helps improve management of natural ecosystems and optimize restoration strategies of degraded ecological ecosystems.
