Understanding the past and current states of biodiversity, the threats driving changes, the contributions of nature and the potential solutions to biodiversity loss are essential topics for guiding policy, research, and conservation.
By leveraging its vast network of researchers and partner organisations, the QCBS, supported by Biodiversité Québec, aims to synthesize existing knowledge, publications and data to create an online and interactive book that will make information on biodiversity more easily accessible for Quebec’s decision makers and general public while also identifying key knowledge gaps.
