EducationPh. D. Behavioral ecology, Université de Sherbrooke (2005) Postdoctorate, Imperial College, London, UK Postdoctorate, NERC Center for Population Biology, London, UK ResearchThe purpose of my research is to understand how to ecological and evolutionary processes interact to generate and maintain phenotypic diversity and to study the influence of evolutionary processes on natural population dynamics (racoons and American mouflons). To achieve this, my students and I pursue a longitudinal follow-up of marked individuals (from 14 to 35 years of data) which provides us with empirical data on the survival, recruitment, phenotype (including weight, age of the first reproduction) and the environmental conditions of entire communities. We use a multidisciplinary approach which integrates theory from population biology and evolutionary ecology to analyse exceptionally detailed databases to ultimately understand the causes of population fluctuations and their consequences on natural selection.QCBS studentsKiyoko GotandaPostdoctoral fellow Ludovick BrownPh.D. Lidia Colejo DuránPh.D. Pier-Olivier CussonPh.D. ROXANE LASSISPh.D. Emilie LefolPh.D. Sandrine Beaumont-CourteauM.Sc.
