PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Proposed training (available in the short term)
1) Respirometry : measurement of metabolic rate, VO2 max, plumage/pelt insulation, cold and heat tolerance in the field and laboratory.
2) Calorimetric bomb : measurement of energy content of organic material, digestive efficiency, food quality.
3) Body temperature by RFID : body implants for individual identification, temperature measurement and activity budget in the field and in the laboratory.
4) Quantitative Magnetic Resonance : non-invasive measurement of lean body mass, fat mass and water mass.
5) Ultrasound : non-invasive measurement of the size of certain internal organs depending on the organism studied.
