Comparing stable isotopes and mercury concentrations of four sympatric seabird species from the Gulf of St Lawrence
I compare nitrogen and carbon stable isotope and mercury concentrations in blood and feathers of the Atlantic puffin, razorbill, common murre, and black-legged kittiwake. In addition, I evaluate the relationship between stable isotopic signature and mercury concentration and determine the reasons for intra- and inter-specific variations in mercury levels and isotopes.
