Project

Behavioural responses to injury in Sapajus Libidinosus
I plan to study the behavioural responses to injury and release suitability in bearded capuchin monkeys (Sapajus libidinosus). I will examine how injuries and stressors may affect release potential, maternal investment, and innovation. This study will take place at government run rescue centres in Northern Brazil in which I will have access to monitor and record the capuchins while also being able to employ behavioural testing related to obtaining food.
