BSc, Agronomie, Université Laval RechercheMes intérêts de recherche portent principalement sur les cycles biogéochimiques du carbone et de l'azote dans le sol. Je m'intéresse aux mécanismes qui régissent le stockage et le déstockage du carbone et de l'azote dans le sol et à la dynamique de la matière organique du sol. Mes travaux portent sur l'influence du mode de gestion des terres (agriculture, foresterie, agroforesterie) et des perturbations naturelles et anthropiques (coupe, feu, récolte, travail du sol) sur les flux de carbone et d'azote en sols agricoles et forestiers tempérés et tropicaux. Je porte une attention particulière à la dynamique du système racinaire des plantes et à l'importance des racines dans les processus de stabilisation et déstabilisation du carbone dans le sol.
