Projet

La Biodiversité des Animaux Vertébrés dans le Crétacé (65Ma) dans le Centre du Canada
My project examines environmental drivers of paleobiodiversity over intermediate periods of geologic time (100Ka - 1Ma), and explores the duration and potential cause(s) of the end-Cretaceous mass extinction event in central North America. This work seeks to link vertebrate biodiversity, paleoclimate and depositional environmental dynamics using a variety of different tools, including paleobiology, modern ecological statistics, paleobotany, paleosol geochemistry, oxygen-18 isotope geochemistry and lithostratigraphy.
