Génomique de conservation des espèces de poissons d’eau douce importantes pour les peuples autochtones du Canada
FISHES est un partenariat de recherche pancanadien fondé sur les communautés œuvrant à entrelacer le savoir autochtone et les sciences occidentales (notamment les sciences de la génomique et de la pêche) à l’appui de la sécurité alimentaire et de la gouvernance des pêches dans les communautés autochtones du nord. Mon rôle est de développer et d'appliquer des outils génomiques pour identifier des populations de poissons distinctes, déduire la diversité et la structure des populations et découvrir les mécanismes sous-jacents à l'adaptation putative.
