To What Extent Have the Mandates of Transportation Agencies been Improved Regarding the Consideration of Biodiversity? An International Study.
An international analysis on transportation mandates and their integration of biodiversity within these mandates. We wish to determine if transportation laws and mandates have been updated since the signing of the Convention of Biological Diversity in 1993. We wish to carry out this study with a document analysis (available through government archives), a survey questionnaire, and a series of interviews to better understand how transportation agencies view biodiversity and if these agencies are playing an active role in biodiversity conservation.
