Temporal dynamics of plant-pollinator networks in the Canadian Arctic ArchipelagoThe impacts of global climate change are being felt the greatest in the Arctic where they are disrupting pollination by driving down pollinator diversity, shifting flowering phenology, and shifting the ranges of many insect pollinators. The pollinator community there is currently dominated by flies that almost exclusively pollinate open flowers while a handful of bumblebee species pollinate not-so-easy to access flowers such as legumes and Pedicularis. I am attempting to describe the plant-pollinator network of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago and determine how it turns over through a season. I am also interested in drivers of pollinator diversity and how climate change will impact those drivers in the near future.
