    Je m'intéresse particulièrement aux symbioses plantes-microorganismes, avec une emphase particulière sur les champignons mycorhiziens. Mes objectifs de recherche sont de mieux comprendre pourquoi certaines plantes préfèrent certains partenaires microbiens (et vice versa). En ce sens, un pan majeur de ma recherche est de développer nos connaissances sur les traits et l'écophysiologie des champignons mycorhiziens. L'objectif est ici de déterminer si les plantes ont tendance à sélectionner des partenaires microbiens qui ont des traits similaires, ou encore complémentaires, aux leurs. Finalement, je tente aussi de comprendre comment les microorganismes modifient les interactions entre les plantes (e.g., compétition, facilitation) et comment ceci pourrait avoir des conséquences sur l'assemblage et le fonctionnement des communautés végétales.
