Two workshops on professional development 

The QCBS will be offering two new workshops in Spring 2018. These workshops will be offered in French; English speakers are welcome but attendees must be able to understand French.

How to manage, mobilize and train teams or stakeholders in a way that drives change: what managers need to know to make the right decisions in their organisations (businesses, municipalities, etc.)

April 18-20, 2018 (3 days) 

Location

McGill University, Stewart-Biology Building. Room S3/4.  

About 

This workshop offers knowledge on facilitation; this includes knowledge being a facilitator, understanding how to analyse the context and how to use the appropriate tools.

Managing conflicts of usage in different ecosystems: the science and art of supporting stakeholders in multi-actor workshops.

About 

Managing the usage of ecosystems in certain zones – often concerning a particular species or resource – can cause a long term affair that can last decades and even generations. The efficiency of management depends on many factors and this workshop will focus on developing and establishing the different tools to manage these conflicts in a constructive manner.
