Project

Physiological stress in white-tailed deer in the suburban parks of southern Quebec
The study focuses on the physiological stress of white-tailed deer in peri-urban areas in southern Quebec. Our goal is to understand how different intrinsic factors including animal's age, sex, etc. and extrinsic factors like animal density, visitor rates in parks, etc. influence long-term stress in deer by looking at the cortisol levels in their hair.
