Project

Assessment of three approaches to vegetation restoration in a wet meadow ecosystem
The objective of my thesis is to evaluate different approaches aimed at optimizing methods for vegetation restoration in wet meadow ecosystems. The field experiment assesses two revegetation techniques: Direct seeding with or without the use of nurse plants, and topsoil transfer. Complementary greenhouse experiments assess the influence of soil fragmentation, soil texture, and water level on the effectiveness of the soil transfer method.
