Community Ecology in Mangrove Ecosystems
I study community ecology in mangrove ecosystems. Mangroves are widespread globally and provide essential ecosystem services, like coastal protection. My work examines the epifaunal communities associated with mangrove forests, focusing on facilitation cascades and how abiotic variation associated with the edges helps structure those communities.
