Project

The behavioral and sensory ecology of Western black widow spiders (Latrodectus hesperus) and its relation to the web structure.
My project aims at disentangling the relations between the behavior of L. hesperus and its complex tri-dimensional web's structure, specifically by focusing on the spider's sensory capabilities and how it can both affect and be affected by the web structure.
