Developing precautionary approach frameworks within changing productivity regimes: a case study of Northern Shrimp (Pandalis borealis), SFAs 4-7My part in this project will consist of comparing two current methods of estimating the total Northern Shrimp biomass in the Newfoundland and Labrador shelf. These methods consist of the Generalized additive models and Ogmap. I will be simulating different types of spatial arrangments to determine which method most accurately estimates the true biomass.
