Effects of tree species richness and water stress on microbial communities and soil carbon and nitrogen pools in temperate plantations
This study will characterize how tree species richness and water stress affect the functional and structural diversity of microbial communities and soil carbon and nitrogen pools. Two experiments that were established within the TreeDivNet platform, namely the ORPHEE experiment in Bordeaux, and the IDENT experiment in Sault Sainte Marie, will allow us to study the interaction between tree species richness and water stress.
