Biodiversity and the city : a research in comparative law (Canada-France)
This thesis is dedicated to studying the legal approach to urban biodiversity through the scope of the city, which is here seen as both a geographical and sociological reality (not unlike an ecosystem with biocenosis and biotope). This definition broadens the research to encompass the questions of governance, appropriation and advocacy of urban biodiversity.
