Foraging ecology of Peruvian resident seabirds
Seabirds move along the oceans searching for food specially in resident non migratory species. This movements may me influenced by several factors such is environmental changes or fisheries intensity and distribution. Different seabird species may respond differently to these changes as has been already described. In Peru three species of cormorants live in sympatry and research will try to understand how they forage along the Peruvian coast and their different responses to environmental pressures.
