My research has focused primarily on understanding the complex interactions between human/animals and their environments, and how it mediates spatially-explicit non-linear (complex) phenomenon like resource constraints and disease transmission. I look to both agent-based models and spatial statistics to understand the patterns and processes of such phenomenon.
