Recherche

Les recherches dans le laboratoire examinent spécifiquement comment la structure du paysage forestier affecte la dynamique des populations, la connectivité du paysage, le flux de gènes, et les interactions entre les perturbations telles que les feux de forêt, les épidémies d'insectes, et l'aménagement de la forêt. En utilisant les approches empirique, la simulation et les analyses statistiques, nous visons à améliorer notre compréhension des liens entre les patrons et les processus écologiques pour mieux prévoir les conséquences à long terme de l'utilisation des terres et le changement climatique des écosystèmes et améliorer les stratégies de gestion des forêts.
