This conference, a partnership between the Loyola Sustainability Research Centre, the UN Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, and the Quebec Centre for Biodiversity Science, will showcase the Centre’s research talent and also promote local and international achievements in urban biodiversity. We will be joined by the Executive Director of the Convention on Biological Diversity,  Mr. Réal Ménard from Montreal’s Executive Committee, responsible for sustainable development, green spaces and the environment, special guest from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Mr. Luis Demascena, director of participation and promotion to public policies of the Sao Paulo municipal department of green spaces and environment, mayors from Montreal’s various boroughs, NGOs and civil society organizations!
