When? Friday, April 8, 2016, 9AM-5PM

Maximum number of participants: 40

Registration fee: 40$ (to be paid after online registration)

Why is this workshop important?

For many young researchers, the opportunity to work in the field in the North is an incredible experience, whether it be on a personal or a professional level. However, most students do not receive proper training to work with northern indigenous communities. A significant number of students who work in the North often experience a culture shock upon arrival.

Objective

The general objective of this workshop is to encourage cooperation and a balance between traditional and scientific knowledge, as well as to share different perspectives between scientific and northern communities.
