QCBS @ UQAM

The QCBS-UQAM geopole brings together professors, postdoctoral researchers, and students engaged in biodiversity research. Our researchers contribute to the four strategic research areas of the QCBS :

  1. Biodiversity observation and monitoring
  2. Understanding and predicting biodiversity changes
  3. Supporting decision-making for conservation and sustainability
  4. Integrating knowledge across disciplines and sectors

Biodiversity Data Production and Use Expertise Hub

The center of expertise provides support to researchers and students who build and work with biodiversity data. We offer guidance from the initial study design through data analysis and even archiving.

Our team brings together expertise in experimental design, statistical analysis, and data management across scales ranging from individuals to populations and communities. We support QCBS network members through consultations, workshops, and collaborative learning opportunities.
