Workshop overview

This workshop introduces RDF and Semantic Web technologies with a focus on their theoretical foundations and relevance to biodiversity research. Participants will learn how graph-based data models, global identifiers, and semantic meaning enable the integration of heterogeneous biological data, with practical illustrations in Python. The workshop is designed to help understand not just how to use these tools, but why they are valuable for interoperable and reusable biodiversity science.

Audience

This workshop is FREE for QCBS members, both students and researchers. Non-QCBS members will be charged 50$+tx (students and NGOs) or 100$+tx (others) to attend the workshop, payable on line by credit card prior to the workshop at this link.
