How combined global change drivers impact the ecology and physiology of tropical marine invertebrate communities
This project aims to determine the changes in the structure of tropical supra-benthic invertebrate communities following an exposure to ocean warming coupled to a marine heatwave and hypoxia. We will also compare the sub-lethal consequences of the exposure to these combined drivers across a majority of represented taxa within the communities. To do so, we will build an integrated biomarker index regrouping markers of physiological stress accross multiple levels of biological organization, from cells to whole organisms.
