Influence of landscape structure on eastern spruce budworm [Choristoneura fumiferana] associated parasitoids communities in Québec
Parasitoids are known for their influence on Eastern spruce budworms population. However, the mechanisms driving this parasitoid-host interaction are still unsure. In my research, I’m looking for the link between landscape structure and parasitoids community. Is predation of parasitoids on spruce budworm influenced by spatial composition or are food webs more complex when landscape is? Those are some questions I am interested in. I am working on a large scale of data covering the Quebec with particular attention on the Côte-Nord region.
