Through its excellence awards program, the QCBS recognizes, supports, and encourages the research of outstanding and promising students in biodiversity science.
The excellence awards provide students and post doctoral fellows with funding (maximum $2500) to support the following:
- training sessions in the lab or field (training component need to be well identifies and the object of the request- no fieldwork will be funded)
- participation in training workshops or courses (credited course)
- travel to national and international conferences and symposia (mandatory to present your research).
