Crisis of Life
The “Crisis of Life” is an educational, nonprofit video project focused on the biodiversity crisis and its impacts. The videos include interviews of prominent ecologists and activists discussing the threat to and the value of biodiversity, as well as possible solutions.

The Biodiversity Centre of the Université de Montréal
The Biodiversity Centre of the Université de Montréal, located in the heart of the Montréal Botanical Garden, will gather about fifty researchers and students dedicated to the discovery and preservation of the natural heritage of Québec, Canada and the world. The Centre will encourage the general public to learn more about biodiversity and biological collections by offering free displays in its exhibition hall.

The Stockholm Resilience Centre is an international centre that advances transdisciplinary research for governance of social-ecological systems with a special emphasis on resilience – the ability to deal with change and continue to develop.

The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity
The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, based in Montréal, Québec, was established to support the goals of the Convention. Its primary functions are to organize meetings, prepare reports, assist member governments in implementation of various programs of work, coordinate with other international organizations, and collect and disseminate information.

The Biodiversity Institute of Ontario
The Biodiversity Institute of Ontario includes four major research divisions:

Scientists at UBC’s Biodiversity Research Centre investigate the ecology, evolution, and conservation of biological diversity through research at all levels, from genes to ecosystems through to interactions with society.
