Mecanisms allowing plant community resistance to invasion
This project will help determine a conceptual framework of mecanisms and traits allowing resistance of a plant community to invasion by indigenous species with high colonization potential and exotic species in a climate change context. Following plant community inventories and functional traits measurements in field work in the Upper Saint-Lawrence Valley, a regional map indicating the zones with high risk of invasion will be produced to help identify regions that need particular conservation efforts.
