Establishing priorities about biodiversity monitoring
The team of the CC-Suivi project, which includes a number of QCBS researchers as well as the MDDEP and MRNF, collected the perspectives from 800 actors about the key priorities for monitoring biodiversity in the context of climate change.

January 2011 project update

The QCBS is a partner in a new research project focused on the effects of climate change on biodiversity in Quebec. The main objective of the project is to develop a sampling plan that will enable the government of Quebec to monitor the dynamics and evolution of biodiversity in the context of climate change. QCBS member Pedro Peres-Neto (UQAM) is leading this project, and QCBS members Dominique Berteaux (UQAR) and Andrew Gonzalez (McGill) are among the members of the research team. Learn more…
